Random thoughts from an unconventional Spaniard in the States

Going Ethiopian

Last Friday, I went out with some friends and we had diner at Dukem, an Ethiopian restaurant in Baltimore.

It was a rather exotic experience, namely because we all ate with our hands, without using any kind of cutlery at all. We ordered a few combo platters such as the one in the picture and we were given some bread, so that we would just grab a piece and use it to “pinch” the food from the plate.

All in all, we were quite happy by the end of the evening; food was good, prices were reasonable and the general atmosphere of the place was quite friendly. Do not hesitate to go for it if you live in Baltimore and have not tried it yet.
