An easy start

During the first weekend of David’s visit, we decided to take it easy and we stayed in the Baltimore/Washington area. We visited Geppi’s museum in Baltimore, which has a very cool collection of comics and toys from the last decades. We also went to the movies and watched ‘Die Hard 4’, which seemed appropriate at that point since many parts of the movie were filmed around this region and close locations on the East coast. In Washington D.C., we visited Arlington cemetery, the Iwo Jima memorial and the National Archives, where we took a close look at the US constitution and the Declaration of Independence. We had a Mongolian barbecue in Chinatown which provided all the energy we needed for a three-hour visit to the Spy Museum and for the train ride back to Baltimore, where we ended the day with my brother’s first chicken tikka masala near the Hopkins campus.
