The WTF plaza in Aranjuez

This place is popularly known as the “WTF plaza” in Aranjuez. It is simply a rotunda open to traffic with an abstract sculpture at its centre. It was originally built to commemorate labor´s day on the First of May. However, every time someone walks or drives next to it, they will turn to you with a confused look in their face and ask: “What the Fuck is That?”. Hence the name. Talk about an exotic mixture of modernity and good old inner Spain folklore!



Este entrañable rincón de Aranjuez es conocido popularmente como “la Plaza del Coño”. En realidad, es una glorieta abierta al tráfico con una escultura abstracta en el centro, que se erigió en homenaje al Primero de Mayo.
